Nicola joined Synergy Global in 2015. Nicola is a change agent. People come to her when they sense something needs to change. With a background as an Organisational Development (OD) professional, Nicola has over 18yrs of experience in the areas of change leadership & HR management.

She has undertaken the leadership of significant change programs in both the Private & Public Sectors, building a reputation for skilful program design, strong partnering, collaboration & effective delivery of results. Nicola has had what could be called a parallel career. In addition to her extensive corporate experience, she has undertaken study of the arts with a degree in music, a deep personal connection with art therapy & practical experience with yoga, mindfulness & meditation. Nicola passionately believes that the creative arts & meditation practices has an essential role to play in the evolution of leaders in terms of self-expression, connection, healing, wellbeing & personal growth.
She brings all of this together to create unique learning experience for Synergy Global clients – partnering with individual leaders & a wide range of teams.

Nicola started her career with AWB Ltd & Australia Post. Over the decade of having her family, she undertook a variety of consulting projects in OD, building the solid foundation for her future work. A challenging personal period following the birth of her 3rd daughter nearly a decade ago precipitated an intensive & life-changing journey, punctuated by much searching & growth.
During this period Nicola discovered art therapy which became the pathway into her inner landscape & has invested extensively in experiencing a vast array of practices to move beyond the mind-body paradigm. These include Kundalini Yoga, Amrit Yoga, Yoga Nidra (Meditation), Mindfulness & Visual Journaling.
She is great at taking clients beyond the constructs of the mind – body paradigm to open to new possibilities & holding a transformational learning space where authentic expression, connection & real change happens.

Her expertise and key interests focus around these 5 themes:
black Reflect, Restore, Refocus – Restorative Retreats for Leaders
black Group Coaching Programs for Women in Leadership
black Designing creative & embodied practices to take clients beyond the ‘chatter of the mind’, from the ‘unreal’ to the ‘real’ to surface inner wisdom
black Amrit Method Meditation Workshops for leaders & teams – Supporting clients to develop skills & practices to manage stress-producing thoughts/emotions for increased resilience & greater presence
black Arts-based team development experiences for personal growth, strengthening team connection, health & wellbeing

Nicola is a busy mother, but also an active member of the The Leadership Circle® & Amrit Yoga Nidra Method Communities of practice, plus the Australian Creative Arts Therapy Association. She lives with her lifetime partner Jeff & their three daughters in a natural bush setting in the outskirts of Melbourne. When she does get some ‘spare’ time she enjoys watching the sunset & the abundant birdlife from her verandah, engaging in deep conversations about life, being inspired through theatre, music, film, books & travel, plus making music with her family.
