Consulting: Based upon a philosophy of empowering others, Nicky has developed High Performing Teams (HPT) in Education, Research & Health. Her international profile enables her to bring a wealth of experience & networks to her practice. As a clinician, she believes that the best outcomes are achieved when individuals are supported to work effectively & feel fulfilled. Recognised for her authenticity, she creates a safe space in which to challenge clients to reflect on behaviours that inhibit them from being more effective. Then, using a strengths-based framework & a belief that everyone has the potential to succeed, she encourages them to adopt new approaches.

Facilitation: Nicky facilitates a range of mentoring programs in academic, clinical & professional organisations/colleges. She provides bespoke training for Mentors & Mentees including coaching skills, reflective practice & feedback. She also facilitates customer engagement & has worked with the James Lind Alliance to establish R&D priorities within the NHS.

Coaching: Since completing her Grad Dip & Exec Coach Cert (2016), she has engaged with ongoing CPD & is now an active member of the ICF VIC/TAS Chapter accessing coaching supervision & mentoring. Life: She is an accomplished musician & married to a double bass player, Stuart, who challenges, motivates & keeps her grounded. She has run several marathons before her knees began to complain though remains a committed runner. She gets her energy from working with others, but is mildly embarrassed to admit, she has recently become rather keen on bird watching!
