Lesley Morrissey

ICS, CIPD, Human Resources.

Lesley joined the Synergy Global team in 2012 as Team Leader – Marketing and Communications (EU). She has worked internationally in both the corporate and small business worlds across Europe and the Middle East – working in Oman, Jordan, Egypt and Dubai between 1980 and 1997. Lesley qualified with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) to work with Dubai Duty Free – being promoted through various roles, to leave as Human Resources Manager.

She has also worked as an Internal and External HR Consultant and Change Facilitator/Trainer specialising in marketing and communication skills. Helping clients to improve their communication continues to be her passion. Lesley now focuses on helping organisations to improve the effectiveness of communication internally (increasing staff engagement and understanding/buy-in) and externally (creating a positive brand profile and raising awareness).

Lesley has studied how individuals process information and applies this to her clients’ marketing development. She currently lectures at Writtle College (Essex, UK) on web readability and at INSEEC on the London Campus on Brand Semiology. She is also a published author of Grow Your Own Achievers: A manager’s guide to developing effective people in 2002, a series of 26 management e-books for new managers Hands On Management, a marketing e-book How to market your business better in 30 days and has recently co-authored The Reputation Game (with Peter Roper).
