Linda joined Synergy Global in December 2014 as Team Leader - Community Health. As a Dietitian she worked at the Wangaratta Base Hospital with eight years as Chief Dietitian. After achieving a Masters in Public Health, she followed her passion to work in community settings. Over the next 20 years, Linda worked as a Dietitian, Health Promotion Officer, Project Officer & Team Leader in a variety of health organisations. Most recently, Linda worked as a Team Leader for Primary Care at MonashLink Community Health Service (Melbourne), where she provided supervision, support & coaching to allied health professionals. She was responsible for leading this diverse team to deliver the highest standards of care for the community.
As part of the Senior Management Team Linda facilitated & managed an organisation-wide re-orientation of service to the Active Service Model between 2010-2011. This included strengthening partnerships with Monash City Community Care; reviewing reception procedures at Clayton First contact First impressions; analysing/developing Service Coordination best practice & reporting systems; plus developing/piloting a uniform care plan with lead health professionals. This developed her skills in facilitating workshops with staff & community members, negotiating staged solutions to complex problems, & instilled the value of communicating up/down in organisations & community.
These opportunities resulted in well-honed skills as a communicator with key stakeholders & the ability to navigate complex situations to provide solid outcomes. An ability to lead & support in teams to achieve high quality care & desired outcomes through active listening, professional development, networking & focusing on the customer have been Linda’s key strengths.
